什么是SEFA8？
What is SEFA 8?
SEFA 8是一個執行標準，用來評估實驗柜的安全性，耐用性和結構完整性。
這是目前用來確保實驗柜質量和性能的唯一國際標準。
5種柜子類型——金屬(SEFA 8-M)、酚醛樹脂(SEFA 8-PH)、層壓塑料(SEFA 8-PL)、聚丙烯(SEFA 8-P)、木質(SEFA 8-W)
SEFA 8 is a performance based standard to evaluate Laboratory Casework for safety, durability and structural integrity.
It is the only existing international standard designed to specifically insure the quality and performance of laboratory casework.

1、 柜子
①總負荷測試，測試柜體結構的強度和完整性。
②集中負荷測試，在集中負荷時，測試門和抽屜的運行是否正常。
③扭轉載荷測試，在受力狀態下，測試柜子的結構完整性。
2、 柜門
①柜門鉸鏈測試，測試柜子門鉸鏈和附件的強度，門必須開關自如。
②柜門生命周期測試，測試門鉸鏈及其附件的強度是否滿足其生命周期的要求。
3、 抽屜
①抽屜靜態測試，在單點負荷的情況下測試抽屜頭和抽屜五金件的功能。
②抽屜抗沖擊測試，重物墜落時，測試抽屜底部的完整性。
③抽屜內部滾動沖擊測試，在滾動沖擊下，測試抽屜內部結構的完整性。
④抽屜生命周期測試，測試抽屜和部件的生命周期。
耐化學腐蝕性測試
Chemical Resistance Testing
此測試適用于實驗室用櫥柜（SEFA 8）；工作臺面（SEFA 3）和固屬物/配件（SEFA 7）。工作面要經過49個揮發性和非揮發性的化學物質的測試，包括從醋酸戊酯到氯化鋅；不同強度硫酸、硝酸和磷酸；笨；丙酮；碘；甚至苯酚，甲苯，和汽油的影響。
This test applies to Laboratory Grade Casework (SEFA 8’s); Work Surfaces (SEFA 3) and Fixtures (SEFA 7). A list of 49 volatile and non-volatile chemicals ranging from Amyl Acetate to Zinc Chloride; Sulfuric, Nitric and Phosphoric acids in a variety of strengths; Benzene; Acetone; Iodine; even the effects of Phenol; Toluene and Gasoline are tested on the finished surface.

測試方法A：測試揮發性化學物質：將飽含試劑的棉花球放在一盎司瓶的瓶口，然后將瓶倒置在臺面上。在測試過程中，需保證棉花球和測試樣品的充分接觸。
測試方法B：測試非揮發性化學物質：將5滴試劑滴在測試樣品的表面，蓋上一個24mm的表面皿，將凸面朝下。
上述兩種測試方法均需將試劑留在測試樣品表面1小時。然后用水沖洗樣品，用清洗劑和naptha清潔樣品。最后用去離子水漂洗。用毛巾將樣品擦干，將樣品放在73華氏度和相對濕度50的環境24小時后，再對樣品進行評估。評估標準可以采用美國試驗材料協會制定的下列標準：
0級——未發現變化
1級——在顏色或光澤上有輕微變化
2級——輕微腐蝕或嚴重沾染
3級——斑蝕，凹陷，腫脹，腐蝕
符合等級

一系列的測試結果被提供用以建立實驗室用表面材料可以被接受的范圍。測試結果會因制造商的不同而不同。實驗室用表面材料可以接受的結果是不超過4個點出現3級狀況。指定的49種試劑中，個別測試需要由第三方驗證，提交獨立的SEFA 8測試表格。是否適用取決于特定實驗室內用的化學品。
The Range of Results is provided to establish the acceptable range for Laboratory Grade Finishes. Results will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Laboratory grade finishes shall result in no more than four Level 3 conditions. Individual test results for the specified 49 reagents will be verified with the established third party, independent SEFA 8 test submittal form. Suitability for a given application is dependent upon the chemicals used in a given laboratory.
